Ford's pickup truck is first, in terms of scaling, beating out Tesla and GM in the new world of electric Trucks. Americans love their trucks and the best-selling F-150 seems like a great way to host an electric powertrain that can traverse more than 300 miles before it requires a boost. The company has pledged to speed up investment and growth in electric vehicles while finding a way to control costs after supply chain issues fall into line. Bloomberg Businessweek cover story features Ford CEO Jim Farley behind the wheel of an electrified Ford F-150 Lightning. The article title: “Hey Elon, THIS is a truck.”

Ford's earnings are on July 27th, 2022 after the market close, but the five-year weekly chart below shows a recent break of a downtrend in ticker symbol F (Ford). A good spot to initiate a position on a stock that potentially could double by 2023. The dark red line is the 30-day moving average. If you like following the big boys on Ford stock, The Citadel Group, led by Ken Griffin, is a big-time position holder in the company, with roughly 8 million shares worth $133.7 million dollars. The option chain is super liquid allowing for plenty of covered call choices if the stock trends sideways or pulls back with the overall market.

BALLERS: One of Ford's former spokesmen made news recently when he announced that he had turned away 100 million dollars to fill the role of 'ambassador' for the Saudi-backed LIV Golf. Jack Nicklaus's other businesses would no doubt have taken a hit as a result of such an alliance, but he explained his long loyalty to the PGA Tour. "I did it out of courtesy to them (The PGA) because we're doing a golf course for them," Nicklaus said. "I've got zero interest in wanting to do something like that. I don't care what kind of money they would have thrown at me. My allegiance has been to the PGA Tour. I grew up on the PGA Tour. I helped found the PGA Tour as it is today. My allegiance is there, and it's going to stay there." Jack also has a history with Ford's luxury brand, Lincoln.

The Bear's Club in Jupiter, Florida is just one of many business interests in which the 82-year-old is involved.
